Youth Ministries

Our goal is for each young person at Renton Church of the Nazarene to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, living in holiness of heart and life for the purpose of transforming the world. We believe in the holistic education of each person, with the spiritual aspect at the core of it all. The youth will learn discernment through the means of grace, which include Bible-reading, praying, fasting, and more. The goal of all this is to go out into the world to share God’s love with others.

Our weekly activities include Sunday School and Youth Group. Both take place in the Upper Room portables next to our main building. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM each Sunday, and Youth Group is currently in transition. We also have other activities scheduled throughout the week—both for fun, for learning, and for reaching out to others.

As part of the Church of the Nazarene Washington Pacific (WaPac) district, there are activities year-round that we participate in: Main Event (talent and sports competition), Missions Day, and more. The yearly summer camps are the highlight of events for the district. We also connect with a couple other churches for an amazing winter retreat in February. It is fantastic to be able to build relationships with people from all over western Washington.

Anyone under age 18 coming without a parent must have their parent/guardian fill this out before the event. Note: This is not a specific youth or children's event. We would love families to come together. Be sure to bring your own tent, pajamas, toiletries, and food for Saturday night.
